2010 Projects-- Handbags, Trivets, Flower Pins, Banners and even a Quit or Two!

For me 2010 was the year of the handbag!

My favorite one is the blue jean/leather one in the middle. I actually have used them all as they were all made to match certain outfits.

In 2010, I think I made only one table runner and it is only pieced, not completed:

In 2010, I made very few quilts. In fact, I did not finish a single quilt, but I did piece these two:

I also had fun making these flower pins, which I wore in my hair or on jackets:

I also made some hot pads/trivets, which I gave as hostess gifts when I was invited to dinner at someone's home:

I made a few banners which were really fun to decorate with. This is the Thanksgiving banner:

But my favorite project of 2010 is the snowman paper-pieced blocks that I just made last week.  I have completed 3 so far:
All in all it was not my most productive  year, but it was my most FUN year, as I made small items that I could really  use.

What about you? Was 2010 a productive year?

I'd say you were very productive, lots of projects done. Love the log cabin quilt...and the snowmen of course! As for me I did a little of this and a little of that in 2010. Here's to more fun for us all in 2011!
