Quilts on Eggs

Today I brought up my Easter decorations. A number of years ago I made a lot of decoupaged eggs (real eggs). Many of them were made with pictures I cut out of quilting magazines.

I like the sawtooth edge on this red one.

A lot of them are star blocks.

I have quite a few of these eggs, though all are not quilt designs. They are fun to get out each year. I will do a small egg tree and use some to decorate my Easter table.

I was so excited when I found these bunnies in the egg bin.

Their bodies are filled with beans so they sit nicely on shelves. Here's a close up of one I made from old blue jeans.

Look at her cute puff-ball cheeks.

I had forgotten all about these. I don't think I used them last year. I don't know yet what I will do with all of these. After I got everything out, I didn't feel like doing anything with them. It will wait until tomorrow morning when I hope to be more inspired.

Right now I only have the energy to read. I just started a novel yesterday and I will probably have it finished by tomorrow. I love when I really get into a book like that.

What a clever way to decorate eggs! You should submit a few photos to your favorite quilting magazine. : )
Those bunnies are really cute. I did do a little decorating weeks ago when I was going through a box or two.
