Pilgrim Paper-Pieced Block almost Done

I spent most of today finishing this pilgrim block that I started last week.

I purchased the pattern and made the female version last spring.  Then I did nothing more until last week.  This year I hosted Thanksgiving dinner and kicked myself for not having finished these.
I vowed that I would have them ready for 2015.

They are still not complete, but I am making progress. They are both fully pieced with a border. The hard part is done.

I feel pretty sure that I will have them ready to decorate my dessert table for 2015!
