I am so Excited to Be Starting a New Project

With all the home improvement projects we have done in the past three months, I have had little time to sew--for the past 30 days, I could not even get to the sewing machine.

It felt good tonight to start something new.

 Any idea what this could be? 

How about now?

This should be a quick after-work project. I hope to show the completed item by this weekend.
