What a Difference the Color Combination Makes!

In my last post I showed you a scrappy block that I decided I didn't like at all.

I kept looking at that block.

I noticed that a star formed in the center, but was hard to see because I had used all the same color around it.

I decided to try the same block again with white around the black center and green to form the star.


I must say I like this much better! It's the exact same block, just a different color combo.

I think I will contine on to make a couple more 9-inch blocks and see what it looks like when I sew them all together.
