This salad has Spinach, fresh pineapple, avocado, tomatoes, hard-boiled egg, almonds, scallions, carrots, and bacon. Usually I use chicken breast, but this time I had leftover bacon to use up.

Here is my <b>Poppy Seed Dressing</b>:
2/3 cups canola oil
2/3 tsp salt
2/3 tsp onion powder
1 Tablespoon poppy seeds
2/3 tsp dry mustard
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup vinegar (I use Rice wine vinegar)
I put everything in a pint Mason jar and shake, shake, shake. Just prior to serving I put the jar (without the lid) in the microwave for about 20 -30 seconds to warm it up and make sure all the sugar is dissolved. I was thinking they would make a nice border of triangles for a future quilt.
I have close to 100 made so far. Today I decided to play with them and I came up with this classic layout which I like.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKoFREHQk9B7Qwq9BW_o-x1dLmVszomqjUf_mNU98rmkx9cb5Wk4w29qwk-eztgIe1IvB3DeyiqXHKG8N8wE65zIRRuXgG47V7J1-jW7pBq__bpT05QUk82KS7cyB2EQtLLAIXM5C0zUg/s1600/6006B2B7-B6BA-44B6-A2C5-E56F85436FEF.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKoFREHQk9B7Qwq9BW_o-x1dLmVszomqjUf_mNU98rmkx9cb5Wk4w29qwk-eztgIe1IvB3DeyiqXHKG8N8wE65zIRRuXgG47V7J1-jW7pBq__bpT05QUk82KS7cyB2EQtLLAIXM5C0zUg/s640/6006B2B7-B6BA-44B6-A2C5-E56F85436FEF.jpeg" width="640" height="480" data-original-width="1280" data-original-height="960" /></a></div>
I probably won't be doing this, though, because it would take a gazillion more to make a decent size quilt.
Sometimes it's just fun to play. At the moment, I have no idea what will become of these quilt blocks I have been making for the past couple of weeks.
I guess they will remain in this bin with these other Christmas blocks I have made and never used

I made the background in blue, hoping that I can find a way to make them all work together. Perhaps I will finish them in 2020.
In addition to quilt blocks I have been making DH's favorite cookies.

He loves frosted sugar cookies. Since retiring I have more time to learn to decorate them. I chose two easy designs and bought some pastry bags and a couple of Wilton tips to pipe with. I think this is as good as it gets for me. They are not Pinterest worthy, but I am not willing to spend any more time trying to get professional results for something that gets consumed so quickly.

I am really loving this free pattern from paperpanache.com! This is three of the 8 inch blocks sewn together. I think it would make a great table runner, but I would need to make two more. We shall see....
It is only free for a short time, so if you like it, head on over and get the pattern.

During the past year I made a number of yellow/grey pillows and a quilt to match the furniture I chalk painted. I really enjoyed the whole project.

I purchased the pattern and made the female version last spring. Then I did nothing more until last week. This year I hosted Thanksgiving dinner and kicked myself for not having finished these.<br />
I vowed that I would have them ready for 2015.<br />
<br />
They are still not complete, but I am making progress. They are both fully pieced with a border. The hard part is done.<br />

This morning I picked out some fabrics and started and finished 5 sections ....<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_0vZen3yo1DyxtOfoxwP038W5IW79p7U-iyhKWZIx5y4X15yInFTYxd_hSPC35CS7VOO0Abs9andNZGCqR4qVzq4tHlsjihTLa9ofeufRu-dhJMQhg1THqd2YVJRR3iYod4-WpagEd2M/s1600/pilgrim+pp+lady+begin+(Large).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_0vZen3yo1DyxtOfoxwP038W5IW79p7U-iyhKWZIx5y4X15yInFTYxd_hSPC35CS7VOO0Abs9andNZGCqR4qVzq4tHlsjihTLa9ofeufRu-dhJMQhg1THqd2YVJRR3iYod4-WpagEd2M/s1600/pilgrim+pp+lady+begin+(Large).JPG" height="320" width="284" /></a></div>
<br />
I am really liking her. I hope to get the center done later today...that's the section with the turkey on the platter...lots of little pieces. <br />
One morning last week before I left for work (I do most of my Internet shopping before 6:00 a.m. ), I was checking out a quilting site, and I saw this Thanksgiving paper-pieced pattern:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhM_G8Xngb4nxTWWGlHBecCvB-Dp08ZZOsPcUbGqgHrSCkrF_Ua21EFAU76GVBnK0pQOJG43QfkGhHU1ZmosVHF5ORemDURWHSU-IOrKWSGBm6RGApRbi5ceQTexjpVohh3M9eIqB7tu9Y/s1600/pilgrims329.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhM_G8Xngb4nxTWWGlHBecCvB-Dp08ZZOsPcUbGqgHrSCkrF_Ua21EFAU76GVBnK0pQOJG43QfkGhHU1ZmosVHF5ORemDURWHSU-IOrKWSGBm6RGApRbi5ceQTexjpVohh3M9eIqB7tu9Y/s1600/pilgrims329.jpg" height="320" width="279" /></a></div>
<br />
I thought they were both adorable! I immediately pulled out my credit card and ordered them. The price was $7 for both...quite reasonable. It's a pdf file that is emailed to you as soon as you order it. I liked that I would get it immediately, even though I had to use my own ink and print it out myself. <br />
<br />
What I did <strong><em>not</em></strong> like is that after printing it out, I realized that it does not come with the units cut apart and a 1/4-inch seam allowance added: <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhF6eX28XoG7PgqOukDc7OE_Y0KhAXSlhNOtbO1g4JovXj3yYYwsI_oaGX9gAKPf1QRRLa1ONoAN-ReUKdThqcF0KRpxgUuXPyJmfcXpEEuihNPUM6TwMAP_ZN7GVTEKzXsygkcxJQiEGA/s1600/pilgrim+pattern1+(Medium).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhF6eX28XoG7PgqOukDc7OE_Y0KhAXSlhNOtbO1g4JovXj3yYYwsI_oaGX9gAKPf1QRRLa1ONoAN-ReUKdThqcF0KRpxgUuXPyJmfcXpEEuihNPUM6TwMAP_ZN7GVTEKzXsygkcxJQiEGA/s1600/pilgrim+pattern1+(Medium).JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
So I had to make multiple copies so I could cut them all apart and still see the seam lines:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjR7mfppr4L1FtiSrhuDzxESUk2q9SY-IMjcp2olfOqpaJ3Dw3kQNEsIOvRlSZz8odkx789cAhgAUuXRu9PbDe24Gh4lvfW_KI_e1HidwNaWee7K8yUoe28Jt2G_1QHe_BiJxW4TcMF17g/s1600/pilgrim+pattern2+(Medium).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjR7mfppr4L1FtiSrhuDzxESUk2q9SY-IMjcp2olfOqpaJ3Dw3kQNEsIOvRlSZz8odkx789cAhgAUuXRu9PbDe24Gh4lvfW_KI_e1HidwNaWee7K8yUoe28Jt2G_1QHe_BiJxW4TcMF17g/s1600/pilgrim+pattern2+(Medium).JPG" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
then I had to glue each piece to another sheet of paper:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbV_v2_ohmkKL14EZ_gp7iF3s1ckASHaaytXlpC6NK-a-tm0cI7rvAgzjB-FDLZwOHRFns9KQtHcQkzt4mw2ML2oC2SiqVVhMq97mstH47fRomjZKRtw9xaj5WMxtFIIdcXlj5cTfY5fc/s1600/pilgrim3+(Medium).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbV_v2_ohmkKL14EZ_gp7iF3s1ckASHaaytXlpC6NK-a-tm0cI7rvAgzjB-FDLZwOHRFns9KQtHcQkzt4mw2ML2oC2SiqVVhMq97mstH47fRomjZKRtw9xaj5WMxtFIIdcXlj5cTfY5fc/s1600/pilgrim3+(Medium).JPG" height="640" width="480" /></a></div>
<br />
then add the 1/4" seam allowance to every piece:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQcXlay0se8PxktSd2vnHGpmJ1oXqwWBqDxXvZEfwi8A9NQPBEHM7zzJBCOf7UhF4WIaccXXegc36M1BybABXjQD43GhkjAnBkHz5IdUuVtvDwj6W6ggjzD44gjWzrB16CvhZQ6zDzLi0/s1600/pilgrim4+(Medium).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQcXlay0se8PxktSd2vnHGpmJ1oXqwWBqDxXvZEfwi8A9NQPBEHM7zzJBCOf7UhF4WIaccXXegc36M1BybABXjQD43GhkjAnBkHz5IdUuVtvDwj6W6ggjzD44gjWzrB16CvhZQ6zDzLi0/s1600/pilgrim4+(Medium).JPG" height="640" width="430" /></a></div>
Now I will have to find a copy machine to make even more copies, cut them apart and FINALLY I will be able to select fabrics and start sewing!! Am I the only person who thinks this is ridiculous? If the pattern is free, I understand. If I pay for the pattern, I expect that this would all be done for me!!<br />
<br />
The pieces you see above are only for the woman. I still have to do the same for the man. I hope the finished product is worth all the extra cost (paper, ink, copies) and work! I had a pastel-striped fabric that I tore into approx. 6-inch long strips and randomly tied them along the wreath. This is how it turned out:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi2lr01iD8zt3faNNtj_TI63vrPAnsMv9OO08875rYOwzmeGsI4X0GAyT1fHVHgexn_Qd-J4yQ3H82wDC8A4G2Ev9dYTF96mc-mvJx5dw1J_HyOPYbK9d6nhYWjuMI05JLAO03THkT-4So/s1600/add+pink+to+denim+wreath+(Medium).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi2lr01iD8zt3faNNtj_TI63vrPAnsMv9OO08875rYOwzmeGsI4X0GAyT1fHVHgexn_Qd-J4yQ3H82wDC8A4G2Ev9dYTF96mc-mvJx5dw1J_HyOPYbK9d6nhYWjuMI05JLAO03THkT-4So/s1600/add+pink+to+denim+wreath+(Medium).JPG" height="400" width="312" /></a></div>
I like it...very springy looking. I will take it back down to the basement until I need it for spring decorating. Here is the before/after:<br />

I also lost a good deal of finger skin on this project,<br />

<br />
so I am really feeling the need to show off my new denim rag wreath.<br />
<br />
It all began when I was in the basement and saw an old metal wreath form that I have had for years. My many mornings of Pinterest surfing caused a sudden urge to make a denim rag wreath. <br />
<br />
We quilters have a ginormous stash of fabric, so it only took a few extra steps in the basement for me to get an arm load of old denim jean fabric to begin the project. My eye spotted an old flannel bed sheet that I no longer use. Since all denim would be too dull for me, I grabbed the coordinating sheet . I cut everything into 7 to 9-inch strips (I found 9-inch to work best) and <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjcg4wHyG_kmPATYaoBOHJUJUGA83JbLahh0SthZ06qjUq_92qTjqpMvUVIdrATn8BxJOKTYDBRcE4t4tCQ1nMA2ex485jyyhinmeTogxdVpLHm6NvMfs2T03XQabaIb8PBPKNnu_eO6g/s1600/rotary+cutter+denim+(Medium)+(2).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjcg4wHyG_kmPATYaoBOHJUJUGA83JbLahh0SthZ06qjUq_92qTjqpMvUVIdrATn8BxJOKTYDBRcE4t4tCQ1nMA2ex485jyyhinmeTogxdVpLHm6NvMfs2T03XQabaIb8PBPKNnu_eO6g/s400/rotary+cutter+denim+(Medium)+(2).JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
began to tie them to the wire wreath frame.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjBmYVWUZBkkPCHOgc3M96pfa_dMSTLzXo02vp0CUUd1Plt3jmjLKPV7sRRzLXo7hj6tUcTk9NY0w5XYZyMCk9nOSB8aJ-inB1OWaOiXzLtAL6Zlj9bHPTqgtG3MMrg3Knk3kS6YL4ZQo/s1600/denim+project2+(Medium).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="298" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjBmYVWUZBkkPCHOgc3M96pfa_dMSTLzXo02vp0CUUd1Plt3jmjLKPV7sRRzLXo7hj6tUcTk9NY0w5XYZyMCk9nOSB8aJ-inB1OWaOiXzLtAL6Zlj9bHPTqgtG3MMrg3Knk3kS6YL4ZQo/s400/denim+project2+(Medium).JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I tied and I tied and I tied and I tied....I was not too impressed at this stage:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEjj-3hua2eZxeCpJKieTubUbFWawSu7HovijExTXuKGARNiHg5xrrUJwfJXCncyNkBidJ-BNyq111N09d35CGHCFlCtFR_JMEDQ9dqvQT68Q7CtgKwKU4o1BLujUlXy0JL7wE_BVtmGM/s1600/denim+wreath+beginning+(Medium).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEjj-3hua2eZxeCpJKieTubUbFWawSu7HovijExTXuKGARNiHg5xrrUJwfJXCncyNkBidJ-BNyq111N09d35CGHCFlCtFR_JMEDQ9dqvQT68Q7CtgKwKU4o1BLujUlXy0JL7wE_BVtmGM/s640/denim+wreath+beginning+(Medium).JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
This is not a quick project.<br />
<br />
You can expect to tie for at least three hours. After about two hours, I realized my finger skin was gone, so I stopped. I tried to use Bandaids to continue<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWeFw43B_gIWzj2zF1BhF_iukZb3phnJiI4rEPCYoxqNVeWsJVpnmrarJGiC4r6ke0X9Fltg9tYMT5YM-jqrJ1pKfGHL65wXzIOVmc5-C0nApQUjdHk3QDG8bJ21_U-VBYld-MOrBD54U/s1600/bandaid+tying+denim+(Medium).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWeFw43B_gIWzj2zF1BhF_iukZb3phnJiI4rEPCYoxqNVeWsJVpnmrarJGiC4r6ke0X9Fltg9tYMT5YM-jqrJ1pKfGHL65wXzIOVmc5-C0nApQUjdHk3QDG8bJ21_U-VBYld-MOrBD54U/s320/bandaid+tying+denim+(Medium).JPG" width="315" /></a></div>
<br />
but it still hurt, so I put everything in a basket and waited a week. During that time, I decided all blue was slightly too dull for me.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-ENaZqWhIqJeM5CP0vPWO5W5-4qM6ySIobAm2o1ufB9bZ9WAtHmRFakV48NhJYGQRue-NOW2XNN9syTiq-qkV_QBlQhLD_QYmaTeWDMItef0FV4Y0MmFVKyT8EkF4COb2Ie17ciDsrHQ/s1600/wreath+all+blue+(Medium).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-ENaZqWhIqJeM5CP0vPWO5W5-4qM6ySIobAm2o1ufB9bZ9WAtHmRFakV48NhJYGQRue-NOW2XNN9syTiq-qkV_QBlQhLD_QYmaTeWDMItef0FV4Y0MmFVKyT8EkF4COb2Ie17ciDsrHQ/s640/wreath+all+blue+(Medium).JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
So I found some yellow fabric and added it in. Then I tied for another hour or so to complete the wreath. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7vaB0pvxqV6jrQGclQtLk8uqonVZ-7w4frN0zGZYup0YYU35IjBijRnpCvDct1SqM9KBOwlGeZThSozROJYhS7dI8Iy0dnI55PW4rYJkPSPfwRaISYXFLUv-xWMhkCaj1kt3YqMtCR5w/s1600/denim+rag+wreath+(Medium).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="626" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7vaB0pvxqV6jrQGclQtLk8uqonVZ-7w4frN0zGZYup0YYU35IjBijRnpCvDct1SqM9KBOwlGeZThSozROJYhS7dI8Iy0dnI55PW4rYJkPSPfwRaISYXFLUv-xWMhkCaj1kt3YqMtCR5w/s640/denim+rag+wreath+(Medium).JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
I am very happy with the wreath. I may even do another one when my fingers heal. :)Diana LaMarrehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11324428666401187803noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2777754111121648852.post-13849283186018155532013-03-10T07:00:00.001-04:002013-03-10T07:00:36.307-04:00Holiday Chair Toppers<br />

Earlier in the week I finished all six of the witch blocks. I am quite pleased with these. I still need to add some borders to the witch flying on the broom. I will add a different border, but in the same fabrics as they will be used together during the Halloween season. At the moment I am planning on using them as chair backs, much like these Easter chair backs I added to my dining room today.<br />

Last weekend I made a bunch of blocks just because I was itchin' to be stitchin'.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5c0-jVrGJg2riP4OquBsHgt5xm6Q1DeAXit1LEdt0xHFtc92VwvSxwPF_meotregfGW6fry_kNdNsuDBDpAWxIlxfjpy4ojF437Q7oxKTdnlFcWH6PbrpDYJ4ucEEEmlrQNuawBpVZcsD/s1600/SUNDAY+quilt+blocks+(Medium).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="351" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5c0-jVrGJg2riP4OquBsHgt5xm6Q1DeAXit1LEdt0xHFtc92VwvSxwPF_meotregfGW6fry_kNdNsuDBDpAWxIlxfjpy4ojF437Q7oxKTdnlFcWH6PbrpDYJ4ucEEEmlrQNuawBpVZcsD/s400/SUNDAY+quilt+blocks+(Medium).JPG" width="400" /></a><br />
Saturday morning I decided to design some type of border to put around the six witch blocks above.<br />
<br />
I am trying not to buy new fabric, so I raided my stash and found these green and purple pieces that I thought would work.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj28RuSk_i1J-l9n98ptHYGRjK9dXj6vOX0_-YYhLR6AUgJbFR7omTb-omxORLlZXm0mq8MeOROX-aS47qk9jbgD1UCOAt4GCIVE4aom07_yq6Yns2sWtXcziePUmlq6PYgLxoHMKkoNTo/s1600/gr+purp+fabric+(Medium).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj28RuSk_i1J-l9n98ptHYGRjK9dXj6vOX0_-YYhLR6AUgJbFR7omTb-omxORLlZXm0mq8MeOROX-aS47qk9jbgD1UCOAt4GCIVE4aom07_yq6Yns2sWtXcziePUmlq6PYgLxoHMKkoNTo/s320/gr+purp+fabric+(Medium).JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
After a day or so of contemplation I came up with this 3" x 7" block to add to all four sides of the witch:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZovxYcCe9tlAEeZ77YIYQ5TcuAU5mtvt_o8SsMl9vmshcaqHAn9jph70qjbJyWwQ9wFplAuCIgFTkMU-YvvKZVpVJXODEyBa5Uc-HfAq8sn8p1qY_uKITwslBkLuTRCkmnyYRSlwo-pI/s1600/7+x+3+in+border+block+(Medium).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZovxYcCe9tlAEeZ77YIYQ5TcuAU5mtvt_o8SsMl9vmshcaqHAn9jph70qjbJyWwQ9wFplAuCIgFTkMU-YvvKZVpVJXODEyBa5Uc-HfAq8sn8p1qY_uKITwslBkLuTRCkmnyYRSlwo-pI/s320/7+x+3+in+border+block+(Medium).JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
Here is the completed witch block:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSCMg9p8voJZyWnU4JYa0ijsx8EjtMk4LVYvle4L_3boaYOO5BNSlbaQRoPrM9mbS_QsJQJneE9M4lmUhEbjMZMO23_elZ9BzKTb1tQ-VJeuLa6MTBGfsjnbGM750tgI7c_Srtti_16Og/s1600/12+x+12+inch+witch+block+w+border+(Medium).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="556" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSCMg9p8voJZyWnU4JYa0ijsx8EjtMk4LVYvle4L_3boaYOO5BNSlbaQRoPrM9mbS_QsJQJneE9M4lmUhEbjMZMO23_elZ9BzKTb1tQ-VJeuLa6MTBGfsjnbGM750tgI7c_Srtti_16Og/s640/12+x+12+inch+witch+block+w+border+(Medium).JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Now I just need to make 20 more of these frame blocks and all six witches will be framed.<br />
<br />
Saturday morning I also added a polka dot fabric binding to this little tabletop quilt:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjM7h62OaI66iGqWY-ics7mx5Oq5Ta_qoeisEyuexBLJ0iTKbUkpjkL2JJADRg50C-O2Kf4FdLQaJHCeS6S3IuQTTO6ugNTGXztfa4w-_UpqsD2ABK-ExyYG1oYKNWv-Fa10tBUgnqqIDU/s1600/polka+dot+quilt+border+(Medium).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="327" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjM7h62OaI66iGqWY-ics7mx5Oq5Ta_qoeisEyuexBLJ0iTKbUkpjkL2JJADRg50C-O2Kf4FdLQaJHCeS6S3IuQTTO6ugNTGXztfa4w-_UpqsD2ABK-ExyYG1oYKNWv-Fa10tBUgnqqIDU/s400/polka+dot+quilt+border+(Medium).JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
I am happy to have this one completed!Diana LaMarrehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11324428666401187803noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2777754111121648852.post-46610708717573099792013-02-13T18:26:00.000-05:002013-02-13T18:26:50.854-05:00Valentine Paper Pieced BlockLast weekend I was in the mood to sew. I pulled out a <a href="http://paperpanache.com/" target="_blank">Paper Panache</a> free mystery block from last year (#64). <br />
<br />
I chose these fabrics:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDutTuo6BtKsY-Z42CP_X8vtGnCgF_IGjnY7_iMYj9-74_RCl6GS1ZhLg4ebzaagLBQkC0w61W4tChho4OperN-TGyauOJ0x6rsAOMNhUayAzgNi4Mr3L1bVJACFJcfzHe1dHrekYmK_w/s1600/valentine+block+fabrics+(Medium).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDutTuo6BtKsY-Z42CP_X8vtGnCgF_IGjnY7_iMYj9-74_RCl6GS1ZhLg4ebzaagLBQkC0w61W4tChho4OperN-TGyauOJ0x6rsAOMNhUayAzgNi4Mr3L1bVJACFJcfzHe1dHrekYmK_w/s320/valentine+block+fabrics+(Medium).JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
A few minutes later, I had the beginning of a heart flower Valentine block:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjV3mStJBDB3yU4KCU4C2_KKS0H4YFWcvaSFXu9oocI1363XlFGlLWt7OeNnJdlewJ8g-Hq2SR4ByaVKh5nqd7iomyhdy05IuTK5ywEDd4kfYgpQti25nxT_56Nn9F9VwVl7BhLv0JPFqk/s1600/beginning+of+valentine+block+(Medium).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="307" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjV3mStJBDB3yU4KCU4C2_KKS0H4YFWcvaSFXu9oocI1363XlFGlLWt7OeNnJdlewJ8g-Hq2SR4ByaVKh5nqd7iomyhdy05IuTK5ywEDd4kfYgpQti25nxT_56Nn9F9VwVl7BhLv0JPFqk/s320/beginning+of+valentine+block+(Medium).JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
After about two hours I ended up with this delightful addition to my Valentine quilt blocks:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQwiYfKDb2Hn_g9ax5Oc2tXEYLXpMwjkFXdWAjEhDmnj_2SthlrN5dgYHaT7rUVWk8u808uFb-mCSv6XhQp0d-S_vctWbegfr6fJoGMJJGRvPmNzWNDVwZLzHLdZ9VCoqdAf8EFQc_TRE/s1600/100_7541+(Medium).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQwiYfKDb2Hn_g9ax5Oc2tXEYLXpMwjkFXdWAjEhDmnj_2SthlrN5dgYHaT7rUVWk8u808uFb-mCSv6XhQp0d-S_vctWbegfr6fJoGMJJGRvPmNzWNDVwZLzHLdZ9VCoqdAf8EFQc_TRE/s320/100_7541+(Medium).JPG" width="244" /></a></div>
A potted heart flower! I liked it so much I made a second block on Sunday, which is slightly different:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHBFJ1gJXsp-HXm9gE1f5SBYcn9Fl7_WtxbO4hjGxCuf05h46VivRksioeIloLlVqW1whHetVBpqSAen92PZfhgufdUag12CPoV99DVWgGDotJhP5P0IfGKICupepzY_xXP0RwrJ00BJU/s1600/valentine+paper+pieced+block2+(Medium).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHBFJ1gJXsp-HXm9gE1f5SBYcn9Fl7_WtxbO4hjGxCuf05h46VivRksioeIloLlVqW1whHetVBpqSAen92PZfhgufdUag12CPoV99DVWgGDotJhP5P0IfGKICupepzY_xXP0RwrJ00BJU/s320/valentine+paper+pieced+block2+(Medium).JPG" width="242" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
DH and I don't do Valentine gifts any more, so this is my gift to myself. I like it so much better than chocolates!</div>

This is the finished six-inch block that I was working on.<br />
<br />
This is a fun block. Perfect for a Halloween project, like the center of a trick-or-treat bag, if you have children. I am not sure what I will use mine for. <br />
<br />
You can get the pattern free from <a href="http://www.paperpanache.com/free/simplereqs/spider.htm" target="_blank">Paper Panache.</a> If I were to make another, I would use a solid color background so the legs would pop.Diana LaMarrehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11324428666401187803noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2777754111121648852.post-92177036510787347632012-10-22T17:03:00.000-04:002012-10-24T16:51:25.735-04:00The Best Laid Plans go AstrayYesterday I turned my dining room table into my sewing table so I could machine quilt a few items.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRPAnGJ_Br26Tjh-JT0tfBG1RVKByZ76UxnLU6_ksHNJdXpChDTvXf9o9wZBm0R7_zVSqxfQ1JQ_Ijb-crANJX3K38p1-BalNe-yyWGhjRrCrWXutkjqD3bSzWHpmM5lzTnuXcsCJhoi5a/s1600/dining+tbl+sewing+(Medium).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="510" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRPAnGJ_Br26Tjh-JT0tfBG1RVKByZ76UxnLU6_ksHNJdXpChDTvXf9o9wZBm0R7_zVSqxfQ1JQ_Ijb-crANJX3K38p1-BalNe-yyWGhjRrCrWXutkjqD3bSzWHpmM5lzTnuXcsCJhoi5a/s640/dining+tbl+sewing+(Medium).JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I never got around to machine quilting as I spent 5 hours in a marathon cooking session. After that I only had the energy to finish these 3 tiny pieces of a 6-inch block I recently found on the net.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgp2Ztbk-Fz0bRDLE6nTsKWVh2MPZJHDADq71b8UyV9ArjLcxz_7Zxh4bor6CPDdukVq_LiwTjP8IszD6me6qyZs7lhF3bqe03dScQqt4ogh1WUgWOP34VxcEJoqOsQpylodyRtPkYiRTkJ/s1600/3+sections+sp+done+(Medium).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgp2Ztbk-Fz0bRDLE6nTsKWVh2MPZJHDADq71b8UyV9ArjLcxz_7Zxh4bor6CPDdukVq_LiwTjP8IszD6me6qyZs7lhF3bqe03dScQqt4ogh1WUgWOP34VxcEJoqOsQpylodyRtPkYiRTkJ/s640/3+sections+sp+done+(Medium).JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
After working 9 hours today, I had no energy to make the last two sections. I hope to have this 6-inch block finished very soon so stay tuned to see what it is. I think you will like it!Diana LaMarrehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11324428666401187803noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2777754111121648852.post-57456890540292950742012-10-01T19:04:00.000-04:002012-10-01T19:04:00.790-04:00Cat in Pumpkin 3-inch Block<br />
I was in the mood to do a"fallish" project. I have tons of UFO's, so I did not want to start a big project. Some place on my net travels, I came across a link for this tiny 3-inch foundation pieced block. I thought it was cute and not too Halloweenish, so I printed it out.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFShE8jU9gHQ_2WMLs3ycQGyuvTMRpah3I0g_gb2GyVaYTktJRlmbWg70TR6vt9vHvYpS5DuthsBVf9ecE-Dajfm_QY4mTIVhHpcUKErkmRt5MeFtZOrj8i7QVDXi9F8k6ZVA2er7Azts/s1600/100_6866+(Small).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFShE8jU9gHQ_2WMLs3ycQGyuvTMRpah3I0g_gb2GyVaYTktJRlmbWg70TR6vt9vHvYpS5DuthsBVf9ecE-Dajfm_QY4mTIVhHpcUKErkmRt5MeFtZOrj8i7QVDXi9F8k6ZVA2er7Azts/s200/100_6866+(Small).JPG" width="182" /></a></div>
<br />
It's a fast and easy block to piece and it's also a free pattern from Carol Doak. . . gotta love free! If you like it, you can get<a href="http://www.caroldoak.com/pdfs/Cat-in-Pumpkin.pdf" target="_blank"> here.</a><br />
<br />
Once I had it made I had to come up with a way to use it in my fall decor. I decided to add some burlap to all sides and wrap it around a candle! <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTMC2JbK79CnCKFafz1Vj6esACoBO8nI2kZZcXPO1Mx0hcnZlKZ8GmeEVp6w8UlZPSNiB8j4YCtXqwWGcPSVZyNf_2ZyfLEVU3K1IprI2tXAR5dj-EY5eX3yi9Z9Vdrq8LOpm-h3GfF4U/s1600/candle+with+cat+pumpkin+(Medium).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTMC2JbK79CnCKFafz1Vj6esACoBO8nI2kZZcXPO1Mx0hcnZlKZ8GmeEVp6w8UlZPSNiB8j4YCtXqwWGcPSVZyNf_2ZyfLEVU3K1IprI2tXAR5dj-EY5eX3yi9Z9Vdrq8LOpm-h3GfF4U/s400/candle+with+cat+pumpkin+(Medium).JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
It worked nicely on my<em> Happy Fall Y'all</em> accent table in my living room.<br />

If you are feeling like you want to do a quick autumn project, you may enjoy this tiny little paper-pieced block. If you decide to make it, I would love for you to post a link in the comments so I can see how you decided to use this cute block.<br />
<br />
Another big thank you to Carol Doak for all the great foundation pieced patterns she makes for our pure enjoyment.Diana LaMarrehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11324428666401187803noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2777754111121648852.post-68368415047501689212012-09-24T18:03:00.000-04:002012-09-24T18:03:00.842-04:00Fall Halloween Tablescape using Quilted RunnerI love to do posts that show me using some of the quilted items I make. I make tons of table runners and I really do use them. <br />
<br />
I will show you my current tablescape in black and white first, so those of you with sensitive eyes can get your sunglasses. It looks pretty tame here. :)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgu8HgwEP6yYMDE1t6U82JcKicXSFGe1PYSWLRMnEaJow_MImVK53R7CP1atiCLcp2isOwYamXBOuTBVrWsXo7rj3cbal2GcFVz1-u1DN1FTUE3VZpsS5dGrmCXh6b5Qh8oXuYsUPCokbw/s1600/Halloween+tablescape+2012bw+(Medium).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="584" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgu8HgwEP6yYMDE1t6U82JcKicXSFGe1PYSWLRMnEaJow_MImVK53R7CP1atiCLcp2isOwYamXBOuTBVrWsXo7rj3cbal2GcFVz1-u1DN1FTUE3VZpsS5dGrmCXh6b5Qh8oXuYsUPCokbw/s640/Halloween+tablescape+2012bw+(Medium).JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
Got those sunglasses on? OK, here is the same picture in color....<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Orange, chartreuse, black, purple & yellow are the main colors. The glasses are actually purple, but you can't tell that in these pictures.<br />
<br />
I went out on the deck and cut the foliage for the centerpiece. I used a similar foliage bouquet a few years ago and really liked it. <br />

This table is not really all that Halloweeny...only the skeleton straws and the spider candles suggest Halloween...unless you glance over at the curio cabinet... </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
The purple glasses are stored there. Since I put them on the table, I could not leave the cabinet bare, so I replaced them with orange pumpkins and a silver skeleton head. If I had not done that, this table could be used for any fall dinner party. <br />
<br />
I think this table runner shows that quilting can be used for fun home decor. It's not just for bedcovers anymore...though I do love my quilted bed covers, too!Diana LaMarrehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11324428666401187803noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2777754111121648852.post-82922316042672117822012-09-01T15:54:00.005-04:002012-09-01T15:54:52.329-04:00Butterflies are Free<br />
At least this paper pieced pattern is free at <a href="http://www.site.doublenickelquilts.com/" target="_blank">Double Nickel Quilts</a>. It was designed by Candace Moore. Thanks, Candace!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjsE8jNAOxH2KW4cnfpANa1kgWGB7MJrUEgC2x-mJUdktVd7AwLRA49fstZoajwycr2DHNhQMSHWJhTwAlFZJzMZoj6crVzuqdZJ-BVuvwRSa3ZpNJJAjcfk7f8uuif13YkAqUFdHanrrk/s1600/butterfly+quilt+block+10+inch+(Medium)+(Small).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="319" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjsE8jNAOxH2KW4cnfpANa1kgWGB7MJrUEgC2x-mJUdktVd7AwLRA49fstZoajwycr2DHNhQMSHWJhTwAlFZJzMZoj6crVzuqdZJ-BVuvwRSa3ZpNJJAjcfk7f8uuif13YkAqUFdHanrrk/s320/butterfly+quilt+block+10+inch+(Medium)+(Small).JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
It's an easy block to make once you figure out your color scheme and which pattern piece is which color. I would strongly suggest you write the color on each section before you begin to sew. I decided on pink and yellow. I am thinking that three or four butterflies in different colors would make cute pillows for the deck furniture.<br />
<br />
It felt good to do a little sewing. I expect to do a lot more once the cold weather sets in and my perennial gardens are put to bed for another season. I have a lot of UFO's to complete!<br />
<br />
Some of you may remember in June that I was planning to hand quilt my Autumn Stars quilt this summer. I had good intentions...really, I did.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxAxroZ5dGP6zFeX4ncv07uw-10OSX1SdikuPftPneCCrPROlssusrJrhnwVEYzU5MYd4oO3F8NT6NknQQ-u8UIWbhnlSMGS7nOed0cADOpjL7fsmg4eEiuD5croYbufh2J3t0h6mK11A/s1600/autumn+stars+quilt+(Medium)+(2).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="288" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxAxroZ5dGP6zFeX4ncv07uw-10OSX1SdikuPftPneCCrPROlssusrJrhnwVEYzU5MYd4oO3F8NT6NknQQ-u8UIWbhnlSMGS7nOed0cADOpjL7fsmg4eEiuD5croYbufh2J3t0h6mK11A/s400/autumn+stars+quilt+(Medium)+(2).JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
I even hand quilted one star area, then I moved the hoop to get ready for star #2, set it aside-- and have not picked it up since! Time has escaped...with working full time, I could barely keep up with the flower garden.<br />
<br />
Early this morning I did put the binding on one of the animal placemats that I machine quilted last spring.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_a-vzhlFM7H7v7v93YqU2c759CQv-J-gUvWERAm50s9FoduYqA-Hk8pLN-PaLo_N5TWd9LuMsd5RJqw-Zyqt-cDq4dOo74MXyI0gg-VJteRbiYpDvO6OThpr2WmzigVshyMMhOu_uKJs/s1600/binding+animal+placemats+(Medium)+(3).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_a-vzhlFM7H7v7v93YqU2c759CQv-J-gUvWERAm50s9FoduYqA-Hk8pLN-PaLo_N5TWd9LuMsd5RJqw-Zyqt-cDq4dOo74MXyI0gg-VJteRbiYpDvO6OThpr2WmzigVshyMMhOu_uKJs/s640/binding+animal+placemats+(Medium)+(3).JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
I used one of the fancy stitches on my machine. I think it will be just fine. I have three more placemats to do. I hope to get those done tomorrow. I made these placemats to go with these animal skin dishes:<br />

I have been calling them leopard dishes, but I think they may be Cheetah. Whatever they are, I am looking forward to a fall dinner party setting with my new placemats. <br />

If anyone is still around reading this blog, thanks for stopping by! I know I have neglected this blog for quite some time. I hope to resume more regular postings soonDiana LaMarrehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11324428666401187803noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2777754111121648852.post-4453122890616125352012-06-07T05:26:00.000-04:002012-06-07T05:26:22.553-04:00Quilt DecorI was off for a few days last month. During that time, I finally put the binding on my pink star quilt. I put this on with the sewing machine and I am pretty content with how it turned out.<br />
I made this one to match my living room sofa and love seat. It was a very detailed star quilt with the tiny center star being an exact replica of the large star around it. I almost cried after I ruined it by machine quilting it. I am a terrible machine quilter! After it sat unused for over a year, I finally came up with idea to add a second backing and add ties to hold it together. That worked wonderfully to hide the hideous machine quilting on the back. I am now happy that I can display this one without shame.<br />

<br />My next quilt to finish will be this green double star quilt:<br />

<br /><br />
I plan to hand quilt this one, so I had better get busy as it will take quite some time just to remove the paper backing. Any of you familiar with foundation piecing will wince when you see this:<br />

Yes, tiny little 3-inch blocks with 5 to 9 teeny pieces of paper on each that I need to remove. I have decided to spend 15 minutes each morning before leaving for work standing at the kitchen counter with the garbage container at my side as I pick each piece off. <br />
<br />
Yesterday morning I worked on this section:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBZJ4Zb_HgGwYol8F9XuHTS0CsQ20yON7Bt3CmZUzrLfV6Pm7ZW0eUL1JtGsjdPcY4G3veCH8uVPDeks2xfleFo2kQ_MrJBnH4awG8CofjuDMgr3pzAGaNQdY41asGcDOrxcadQQOcQLk/s1600/remove+paper+quilt1+(Medium).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBZJ4Zb_HgGwYol8F9XuHTS0CsQ20yON7Bt3CmZUzrLfV6Pm7ZW0eUL1JtGsjdPcY4G3veCH8uVPDeks2xfleFo2kQ_MrJBnH4awG8CofjuDMgr3pzAGaNQdY41asGcDOrxcadQQOcQLk/s640/remove+paper+quilt1+(Medium).JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I finished this much yesterday in 15 minutes:<br />

<br />
The paper does come off easily, but it will still take a bit of time before I am able to sandwich it and begin quilting.<br />
